The purpose of this case study is to identify causes contributing to the struggles of one highly orally proficient sixth grade ELL, Sally, with English literacy acquisition, and to determine strategies for intervention, remediation, and ultimately, development of
successful reading strategies and patterns for her which researchers and teachers may find to be useful for students with similar backgrounds and difficulties. |
