Himmelfarb librarians initiated an effort to increase awareness of alternative publishing venues which exist outside the commmerical arena; to encourage faculty to investigate electronic publishing alternatives; and to provide a connection to open access initiatives. GWU now participates in four open access initiatives and interest is growing among GWU faculty. |
