Title: Decision-Making, Inhibition, and the Dual Pathway Model:
Author: Henderson, Joshua
Abstract: The study investigated the relationship between attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and polymorphism of the dopamine transporter gene (DAT1) through the use of performance-based measures of affective decision-making and response inhibition in children with and without ADHD. The effect of diagnostic group and genetic group on sensitivity to reward and punishment was also explored in relation to the dual pathway model of ADHD.
