The mission of the Georgetown University Journal of the Environment (GUJOE) is to produce a journal of peer-reviewed student articles. GUJOE aims to provide Georgetown undergraduates with the opportunity to submit original work; to participate in the publishing process; and to deepen their understanding of the environment. GUJOE is an annual academic publication supported by the School of Foreign Service’s Science, Technology, and International Affairs program and the Center for the Environment in Georgetown’s College of Arts and Sciences.

The Washington Research Library Consortium (WRLC) provides a shared digital institutional repository for its member institutions, known collectively as the ALADIN Research Commons.

This resource is intended to serve both as a mechanism for publishing - in digital form - the scholarly output of each school’s academic community, and as an open and shared ALADIN resource that supports research and continued scholarship.

Currently, the WRLC has selected DSpace as the underlying digital repository system to meet WRLC and member institutions electronic publishing, scholarly access, and digital preservation needs.
