dc.description The are two images on the envelope. The first image is of a Union flag with a liberty cap in the upper left corner. The second image is on the right side of the envelope. The image is of a battlefield memorial with the inscription "In memory of the gallant officers and men, who fell, at the battle of Bull's Run, July 21st 1861.". Four Union flags appear from behind the memorial. A woman, possibly the Muse Clio, is sitting to the left of the memorial. A Federal (Bald) eagle appears in front of the memorial.
