GW Electronic Theses and Dissertations

After an initial pilot program in 2003, The George Washington University decided to move towards an electronic-only policy for its dissertations and theses. Starting in Fall 2007, the University began accepting dissertations and theses in PDF format on a voluntary basis.

From Spring Semester 2008 onwards, all dissertations will be required to be submitted in electronic format, and from Fall Semester onwards, masters theses also will be required to be submitted electronically.

This collection represents the digital archive of all of the incoming electronic theses being completed by graduate students as well as a drop-off location for theses and dissertations which are being retrospectively converted into PDF format.

GWU students who want to find out how to submit their dissertations for graduation purposes should go to the following website: http://www.gwu.edu/~etds/

Note to GW Alumni: only representatives from Gelman Library Staff or their surrogates are allowed to retrospectively load content to this site. If you have already graduated and wish to have an electronic version of your thesis or dissertation loaded to this site, please contact etds@gwu.edu for more information.
